The Gun Gardens in central Rye is a popular place for pople to take in the beauty and history of Rye. With sweeping views across the Rother, Marsh and beyond it is a wonderful place to visit. After a long night of astro photography the sun was rising and casting amazing colours across the sky and clouds. I rushed to the gardens to capture the dawn almost hinting at the fire that used to roar from the now silent canons.
